Fairy Villages

June 12, 2009

I received an email from Green Hour with their newest activity to do with children, making fairy houses.  What a wonderful craft to do with your kids and if fairy houses are too girly for boys, they might enjoy making a toad house or two (as demonstrated by one of my favorite nature/family/creative blogs, 5 Orange Potatoes).

After the fairy (or toad) houses are complete, why not make a few little pipe cleaner fairies as well (also by 5 Orange Potatoes).

Did you know?

One of the most familiar mushrooms is the fairy ring mushroom, which can be found on lawns and grassy fields throughout the spring and summer. (from Green Hour)
